Rob Sykes’ DJing career spans over 15 years. Based in London, England, Rob’s DJing talent has taken him on a global journey and seen him performing at some of the world’s leading clubs.
Emerging as a fresh talent in the early 90’s, Rob quickly secured residencies at London’s most high profile club nights such as Quiet Storm, Babes in Toyland, Billion Dollar Babes and Studio 94. It was at these clubs that his name and talent really began to get noticed. During this period, he was also a regular guest DJ at London’s Ministry of Sound when the club was at the height of its popularity.
Known for his technical skills and ability to spot a good tune, Rob has secured a reputation as a world class DJ. His versatility has prolonged his professional career and has seen him perform after show DJ sets for Janet Jackson, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue, amongst others. He has also performed DJ sets at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Rome 2004 and Lisbon in 2005.
In 1998 he became resident DJ at London’s now legendary Factor 25. Over three years, the success and popularity of Factor 25 grew and grew until the event evolved to become Action. For the first time, London had its very own circuit style party. The success of Action and the effect it had on clubbing in the capital was phenomenal. For four years Rob Sykes headlined Action in London as well as taking the club on a global tour.
Following the closure of Action in early 2006, Rob became resident DJ of a brand new Saturday night in London called Juicy - www.juicyclub.net. The night was instantly established as London’s hottest ticket and remains so to this day.

Homespun is a group of people who came together through a need to find an outlet for their varied musical tastes and talents and have been putting on parties for over five years in and around Belfast,Derry and the North Coast of Antrim in Northern Ireland. Homespun consists of around seven to eight people who contribute to the setting up of parties or nights out.This includes Djs,Vjs,Artists,Singers,M.C.s,musicians and Computer design .The music usually has a reggae influence and can range from hip hop, funk, jazz, jungle, ska, broken beat to house. The aim of Homespun is not only to encourage other people to express their own talents through music,art,design or even promoting their own events but also to have a good time doing it and to make friends with similar people along the way.
